When you share a portfolio with someone, Blackboard shares a snapshot of the portfolio at that point in time. This snapshot is static, meaning it does not change when you edit your portfolio. To allow someone to see the changes, you will need to share your portfolio with them again. Learn more about sharing your portfolio.
You can include images, audio, video, and many other types of streaming media in your portfolio. For images, you can embed any of the following file types: .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .bmp, .png, and .tif. For audio and video, we recommend using MEDIAL, which will let you use any of the following formats: .mov, .avi, .wmv, .flv, .mpg, .mp4, .mp3, .wav, .wma. You can also embed videos that you have upload to YouTube.
For other file types, you can add them as an attachment or artifact. Someone viewing the portfolio will need to download the file to open or view it. Learn more about adding content to your portfolio.
